Perfect Tradition SmNo "Argument" Between
Consciousness and Energy

by Carolyn Lee, PhD

The regeneration of this Ultimate Yogic Form [The "Bright"] in the case of Adi Da Samraj is momentous beyond comprehension.

What His Realization reveals is the unique structure that resolves what one could call the traditional esoteric "argument" between the "Consciousness point of view" and the "Energy point of view".

The Sages, drawn to the causal root, declare the pristine depth of Consciousness to be the only Truth. The Yogic practitioners, turned up toward the sahasrar, regard the psycho-physics of Energy to be the means of Realization.

But the potential of a connection between the right side of the heart and the sahasrar has never been comprehended or Realized. That connection is potential in the fully Awakened Amrita Nadi — the living Current that inherently Stands between the right side of the heart and the Matrix of Light Above.

This Realization is beyond both the fifth stage of life and the sixth stage of life. Amrita Nadi is the esoteric structure of a further stage of life — the seventh stage of life, a Realization that has never before been described.

In the seventh stage of life, Reality is Self-Revealed as both Consciousness and Energy, or Conscious Light — the "Bright". And that Realization is Non-conditional, requiring no effort or intention to maintain. In the words of Adi Da Samraj, it is "Open Eyes" — the "Perfect Knowledge" of Reality.

Such is the Realization of the Avataric Great Sage, Adi Da Samraj, and such is the nature of His Spiritual Transmission. Therefore, ordinary human beings related to Him as devotees have, at times, by His Grace, experienced this incomparably profound Revelation of the structure of Reality — not yet as a permanent Realization, but as deep glimpses that motivate the being to the great ordeal that perfect Realization requires.

One such profound occasion, which took place in 1988, is described in the following account.

Adi Da Samraj had been gathered with devotees for many hours, engaged in Discourse and dialogue. Then, as was His wont at that time, He would dance — either alone or with devotees.

This was not ordinary dancing by any stretch of the imagination. It was always a Divine Revelation and Instruction to whomever He was engaging in the dance, and to everyone in the room. As Adi Da Samraj said at the end of one of these evenings, "When I dance, I move through all possible planes before I finish. I dance to not to have to dance again."

On the occasion described here, someone had put on a recording of a devotee chanting the Ruchira Avatara Gita, which is Avatar Adi Da's own rendering of the traditional Guru Gita.

JULIE ANDERSON: At the end of the night, Beloved Adi Da stood to Dance the chant, Ruchira Avatara Gita.

His body was literally swollen with Love and His skin took on a hue of brilliant blue and reddish tones, "Bright" and also seemingly bruised with the tender Fullness of His Love-Blissful Being.

The Radiance emanating from His body filled the room with a lustrous mist of white light, and His Presence was so thick in the room, you could literally breathe Him in.

Every Movement Radiated His Blessing out in waves as He, literally and by Dance, extended His Love in all directions from every portion of His Divine Body.

My whole being rushed toward Him, in a feeling of Spiritual embrace — falling into a deep rest in His Spiritual Presence.

My visual perception of everything around me dissolved in His Blissful and pervasive Light, until there was only His Dancing Form. I was being absorbed into His Love-Bliss — there was absolutely no resistance, no effort, no thought.

As I was most willingly and helplessly Drawn into sublime union with Him, I began to notice that there was no boundary of the body-mind left.

I could no longer differentiate between what was internal and what was external. There was no separation, no sense of separate self, no sense of "other" — only Fullness, without obstruction.

I began to notice that His Spiritual-Current had reached a point of such Sublimity that It became Moveless. As that Feeling persisted, all sense of the body-mind dissolved.

Only an awareness of a pinpoint (or locus) a matrix of extremely "Bright" Light radiating down from above, and a point (or location) deep in the heart on the right side remained.

Then, there was a driving Force piercing the right side of the heart and pressing through to a Place of Perfection that is indescribable. Everything dissolved in This.

I now had no awareness of any perception, internal or external — no sense of anything except for this absolute Feeling of Him, the Love-Bliss-Fullness of His Being.

There was not even "one" or "I" left to feel this. There was only the conscious, utterly self-less enjoyment of His Non-conditional State of Love-Bliss.

He had Gifted me with the direct Glimpse of His State in this experience.
