Tagore IconThe Secret of How To Know
(and Be Known By)
My Participatory Image-Art

From Transcendental Realism: The Image-Art
of egoless Coincidence With Reality Itself
By Adi Da Samraj

The experience (and even the potential expression and utterance) that indicates right and true participation in the image-art I make and do is never merely "correct" — or a characterization of the only possible appropriate experience, and expression, and utterance relative to the image there — but it is (if truly right) intrinsically (or self-authentically) true to the viewer-participant.

Every image-form I make and do (including both flat-forms and sculptural forms) should be approached and experienced as a kind of living "presence" — to be embraced, and fully and freely participated in, and (altogether) combined with, in order to "know" and be "known" in the process.

In this manner of approach, the any image-form I make and do must be fully accepted as a living "presence" (or as a part of the viewing-participant's own living process), rather than as a mere "object", intrinsically and irreducibly separate from the viewer's body-mind-totality.

Every image-form I make and do should be (thus) approached and understood as an image-assisted "subjective" (or in-person) process, in and for — and, also, always intrinsically transcending — the any and every particular viewer who participates in it with whole bodily (or tacit and total psycho-physical) attention.

That image-assisted "subjective" process — which is (intrinsically, and in-person-intimately), a tacit (or intrinsically thought-transcending, and ego-transcending) process of "knowing" and being (in effect) "known" by the image-form I present to the participatory viewer — is (therefore) made fully evident only in any and every moment of fully right and true viewing-participation in it.
