This article previews two excerpts from the CD. The first excerpt, called "Divine Realization Is a Gift", is from October 12, 2004. Here Avatar Adi Da states clearly that the Divine must be Self-Revealed by Grace.
No method, no technique, no form of seeking of any kind is the means to Realize the Divine. All such seeking is simply evidence of contraction upon the separate "self" — which is the continuous, unsurrendered gesture of ego.
The essence of Adidam is, instead, living in the present Company of the Divine, turning whole bodily to that Divine Reality Appearing as Avatar Adi Da — and through that turning, being moved by Grace to His Perfect State of Divine Reality and Truth.
In the second excerpt, "Reality Is Waiting", from January 6, 2006, Avatar Adi Da describes His own paradoxical Appearance in the conditional realms as the Actionless, egoless Condition — the Divine Manifestation effective universally, now and in the future.
Why is God (or the Divine Condition of Reality) not noticed? Self-contraction — that's why. Narcissus — that's why.
You are looking at yourself and you cannot see What is in front of your eyes, What is All-Pervading — What is the Condition on the basis of Which all perception, all thinking, all "experiencing", all seeking is apparently arising.
That Condition must be Realized, and you will not be in a position to be available for the Realization of It until you are surrendered, rather than seeking.
