In the upcoming exhibition at Sundaram Tagore Gallery, seven of Adi Da's works, created in 2007–2008, will be presented in monumental scale. We invite you to take advantage of this opportunity to immerse yourself in Adi Da's uniquely purposed artistic communication. Adi Da Samraj calls those who view His image-art to participate in it through whole bodily perception, or feeling — rather than solely through the conceptual mind. Such feeling-participation undermines the tendency to relate to the art as an "object", as if it were separate from the viewer. This process undermines the feeling of being a separate "self", or a "point of view". In essence, the viewer leaves the "room" of egoity (or abandons the illusion of separateness) — and the "space" of the image-art is awakened in (and as) the viewer. The "space" of Adi Da's image-art is the Condition that is egoless, or prior to "point of view" and all illusions of the separate "self". This is the "space" of Reality Itself. As Adi Da describes, His image-art does not represent Reality Itself, it directly presents Reality Itself. Therefore, feeling-participation in Adi Da's image-art is feeling-participation in Reality Itself. And when identification with the separate "self" is perfectly transcended, the Blissful Nature of Reality Itself is discovered.
Feeling-participation in Adi Da's image-art is "where" Adi Da's image-art actually exists. He says: "The image-art I make and do is finally fabricated (or made fully experientially evident) only in the any and every moment of any viewer's right and true participation in it. " Thus, Adi Da's image-art is a process, not an "object". Avatar Adi Da gave His works of image-art to the world in order to Awaken humankind beyond the illusion of "self" and "other" — an Awakening urgently needed for the sake of all of humankind. And so we extend to all this invitation to participate in Adi Da's image-art as means to Awaken to prior unity, through the ecstasy of egoless participation in Reality Itself.

Praise for Adi Da Samraj's Art:I believe that art should always be a surprise. It must create, even in the critic, not emotion, but a sense of insecurity. When one views Adi Da's art, it is easy to see "pop art", "op art", all the possible linguistic, ethnological, and iconographic references — but, in the end, the final work is always a surprise. — Achille Bonito Oliva Exhibition dates: September 8 - October 8, 2011 — from The Dawn Horse Press —
